Claude Akins starred in three episodes of "The Rifleman" - 'The Safe Guard' - 'Strange Town' - 'Meeting at Midnight'
He also starred with Chuck & Johnny in "The Gambler Returns.....Luck of the Draw" in 1991- although never in the same scene
He also was in the movie "Ride Beyond Vengeance" in 1966. William Wyler (Big Country) was quoted as saying "Ride Beyond Vengeance" had one of the greatest fight scenes he ever saw on the screen.
This bar room brawl had so many great reviews!
Harry Carey Jr. appeared twice in "The Rifleman" - 'The Deserter' & 'The Journey Back'
He also appeared with Chuck in "Once upon a Texas Train"
Before "Branded," Johnny appeared in "Arrest and Trial" with Chuck
John Pickard has appeared in "Branded" several times—The Vindicators—The First Kill—Salute the Soldier Briefly—Call to Glory: Part 1- 2 -3 as General Phil Sheridan
John Pickard also appeared with chuck in "The Rifleman" in Death Trap
He was almost cast as Marshal Dillon when "Gunsmoke" (1955) was under development for television in 1955. Charles Marquis Warren (who produced the first year of the show) said his tests were going very well until he "...floundered in a love scene with Kitty. I don't think he ever knew how close he came to immortality!"
